About Me

The Community HIV/AIDS Mobilization Project (CHAMP) is dedicated to establishing, training and mobilizing an independent and powerful HIV/AIDS movement in the United States -- bridging HIV/AIDS, human rights, and struggles for social and economic justice -- and ensuring the development of a broad and effective range of HIV prevention options in the next decade.
• We are revitalizing AIDS activism by training and mobilizing people living with HIV, community activists, researchers, academics and policy advocates.
• We are arming a new generation of leaders with tools and resources to change unjust and inaccurate HIV/AIDS prevention policies, and link them with allies around the world to attack the root causes of the epidemic such as poverty, homophobia and racism.
•We demand that all people have access to honest and complete information and tools in order to stay free of HIV or to not pass on the virus to others.
