About Me



Born and raised in small town Nova Scotia and Cape Breton inheriting the indigenous celtic and country music tradition... Rock, folk, blues, classical, metal, new wave, punk as a kid... avant garde, jazz and improvised music in University... back to country and folk ever since.

Big voice and ears. Have sung and recorded with a wide range of artists from Sarah McLachlan (but don't hold that against her) to No Means No, from Carolyn Mark to Matthew Good, from Cameron Latimer to Allen Dobb.

Songwriter forever. Songs on the radio and tv. Plays accordion, banjo, guitar, piano and bad mandolin.
