Daisy Duke

Formed sometime in the 1800's around a campfire in Northern, BC at the Kispiox Valley Folk Festival after party, Daisy Duke went on to cook many fancy meals, sew many pretty party dresses, smoke many cigarettes and tour, including Ladyfest in Olympia, WA, Wayne Fest, AB, Dawson City Women's Fest, and a gizillion gigs and parties.
Mainly about the clothes, whiskey and fine food, Daisy Duke eventually recorded a terrific little record that they never did get around to releasing (shame on you Robyn), but there's still a chance!!!!
Although a blood oath was sworn to keep the band together until their late 90's, now that Katie Keen (Jeanne Tolmie) is living on a desert island and expecting her 13th child, Moonshine (Joyita Rubin) is teaching flaming throwing in the inner city, and Ellie Mae (Robyn Carrigan) has descended into hell in a hand cart with her 10th husband (so there Elizabeth Taylor), there is little hope for a reunion.
If you care let them know. They just might dust off their crinolines, lube up those lovely pipes and make you weep and whistle with the purest, best harmonies this side of the Rockies and elsewhere.LOVE, Daisy
