About Me

myspace backgrounds

Mabuhay/aloha/tsi-lu-gi!By the way, you might want to go thru my friend's list...seeing as how i have over 1000 bands/musicians on it :)I'm very happy to talk with anyone. Just know that i'm a very direct, blunt, brutally honest and 'straight to the point' type of person. I'm an aries-tiger and say what i mean and mean what i say. So, if you're not easily offended, come take your chances.About me: Well, i'm very happily married to a most wonderful and precious lady, my darling wife, Jeannette. We're best friends and love to be together as much as possible...so, whatever i do i like to do it with her. She's 2nd in my life, only to God. mahal na mahal kita, magandang asawa ko...magpakailanman!Was born in Myakka, Istichatee (of 'Ani'-Yun' wiya' (Tsalagi)-Irish-Scot decent)...spent most of my childhood there...but also lived in Miami (7yrs), California (2 years), and hawai..i (7yrs)...also lived in the Philippines for one year.I'll share one of my favorite fantasies... The smell of spring rain in the air...and the river's scent rising to our nostrils...the prairie grass swaying in the wind...crows cawing in the oaks...on a cool, cloudy but rainless day...to lie under a cabbage palm, on the bank of the Myakka, while eating my nana's frybread, or my asawa's cassava cake...wearing a lei of orange blossoms or pikake...leaning back in the bosom of my beloved, while her hands run thru my hair, singing to me in Tagalog, "mahal kita".I have four daughters and two granddaughters. maraming salamat po & much aloha braddah shano a-da-nv-do di-tli-hi

My Interests

"When I was reading at Tombstone the other day in the--the museum and saw the picture of Geronimo... And many of you might think that Geronimo was a renegade. To me he was a genuine American. He was only fighting for that which was right that God had give him a land, and a nation, and a place to live. I don't blame him. And when those white soldiers come in there and by force taken over the land and killing them out like a bunch of flies... And there was the original picture of Geronimo's medical headquarters or his hospital. It was two or three blankets over a piece of mesquite. And them wounded, real, genuine American Indians fighting for their God-given rights... And there, Geronimo with a baby of his own on the hips, standing there looking upon his own warriors, bleeding, dying with no penicillin or nothing, no way to help them: genuine, God-given American. Then call him a renegade? I'd call him a gentleman." --William M. Branham.Grew up loving nature (aloha 'aina) and to be in the woods...esp. near water.Have many hobbies and past times...sports; futbol, mma (Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, Filipino "Kali" (Arnis/Eskrima), Jeet Kune Do-Jun Fan Gung Fu) check out my Yahoo group: HISTORY OF MARTIAL ARTS IN HAWAII http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/historyofmartialartsinh awaii/ , tennis, spearfishing and surfing (retired). Books:

No book can compare to the Book of Life...the Holy Bible. I feed on it daily. Aside from that, i read very little fiction. Prefer educational & referrence books. I love to study nature, world cultures, science and geography. Don't laugh, but i can study an atlas for hours. We live on this planet, so i figure i might as well learn about it. :p

Heroes:

Jesus Christ is .. 1. No one else comes even close! Though i greatly admire the bravery of men like, Tecumseh, William Wallace, Geronimo, and many others, it is the Apostles & Prophets, of the Bible, that come 2nd only to my Husband, Jesus Christ. William M. Branham is the best example of a man of God i've ever read about...in the 20th Century. Of women heroes, i would have to say, without a doubt, Mary, the mother of Jesus. She was about 14 years old and engaged to be married...then told by an angel, that she would be impregnanted by God. To be pregnant and unmarried in those days was a capital offense...worthy of stoning. Yet, she showed no fear. Now THAT'S a woman! My nana also...she was put in an Indian boarding school as a very young girl. Whenever we asked her about our Indian heritage she'd just change the subject. So i assume they beat most of the Indian out of her. At least she taught my mom how to make frybread. :) My nana was the rock of our family. No one did i love & respect more than her. I will see you soon nana! dv ge ..si-di ..quenv ..sv i
