The Power of Your Fear

About Me

History
Februus began in 2004 as the solo project of front-man Guy Perchard (ex Cruel Kindness/Divine Machine) recording the first Februus release "Fading Memory" - an hour long album featuring many guest musicians. Among these guests were future live band members Ghostsmut (also of Vulnerable ) and Rebecca Arnott.
After people who had heard the album showed interest in seeing the material performed live, Dave Wrighton and James Fraser were recruited to complete the live line-up and in early 2006 Februus made the transition from studio project to band. This line-up featured on the bands second release – the “Safe” E.P. - which, aside from the title track, featured live-band versions of favourites from “Fading Memory”.
After a brief hiatus during 2007 and a line up change introducing Owen Levy and Rebecca's brother Callum Arnott, the band announced the release of their second full length album, entitled “The Power of Your Fear” on September 11th, 2007.
