Tell us a bit about Dustbunny... where does the name come from?

Apparently the term refers to large collections of dust that form into clumps underneath furniture in American households, but we like to think if it as an extra-cute fluffy bunny with huge watery Manga eyes and a gorgeous pink nose, sans septum, keeled over, convulsing and foaming at the mouth in a wondrous playpen of high-grade Columbian cocaine.
Describe your sound to the un-initiated.
Sexy, trashy noise with hard pounding beats, bogan metal guitars and screaming...basically your typical night in with your sister in Dandenong.
What are your current musical influences?

Mindless Self Indulgence, Avenue D, ICP, Dirty Sanchez, Hanzel und Gretyl, Nasenbluten, Atari Teenage Riot, Milli Vanilli, 2 Unlimited.

What motivates your lyrical content?

Things that make us and other people laugh, such as Goths, vibrators, Emo kids, art sluts, clubbers and crackwhores. We like to hold a mirror up to contemporary culture and then use it to cut up our drugs on.

What can we expect live?

Ridiculous volume, inappropriate nudity, filthy props, dilated pupils, random acts of crowdpashing, breakneck tunes to go mental to, excessive consumption of Passion Pop and lots of bunny ears.
Where to from here?

Were tossing up whether to conquer the world with our own peculiar brand of heavy metal, or to descend into a downward spiral of substance abuse and public shame. If we could combine the two that would of course be ideal. Our first step will be to commission a line of poorly made yet strangely seductive merchandise, so we can begin to fully exploit our fanbase. Then well be slutting around our demo and basically sleeping with whomever we need to in order to make it big. Somewhere in there we also plan to release an EP and play some killer shows, before relaxing with a lethal cocktail of drugs and alchohol.
