MISSION STATEMENT:We are the Hudson Valley’s first all female, flat track roller derby league. We will provide a chance for any woman 18 or older and in good physical standing to participate in the challenging and exciting sport of roller derby as well as operations of the HVHRD. We promote a sense of feminine strength, empowerment, and individuality on and off the track. We will push all boundaries on the way to becoming top notch athletes. Safety of all HVHRD participants is our most prominent priority. Standards set forth by the WFTDA will be upheld to maintain the integrity of the sport. As our sister leagues nationwide, we are owned and operated, “By the skaters and for the skaters.”
