Cited as the 'hot thing for 2008' & simply a breath of fresh air. This vocal harmony collective go by the name AvAlon'87 formally known as just AvaLon. Their style is described as R&B/soul with a much appreciated twist, evident from a listen to their tracks. The collective is formed of three sassy, talented, witty and charismatic girls all born and raised in east London, Hackney. Jennifer 19, Vanessa 20 and Lucianne 19 have all been signing and performing from a very young age, and have a determination to succeed admired by many. AvAlon'87 have been together for 3 years and have a number of performances and competitions under their belt. Places which they have performed regularly include: The Ocean Music Venue, The Bloomsbury Theatre in Euston and Hackney Empire, to name a few. They have also provided a leading jingle for an anti-crime event, 'Crime is not a Game' which aired on choice FM for a number of weeks. AvAlon'87 took part in, and appeared on Xfactor 2006, where they got to the bootcamp stage of the competition, with Louis Walsh as their mentor. Recently their song, 'Love Song' made a debut on Choice FM on 'The Kat and RB Show' and received rave reviews from the hosts themselves. With their passion for creating catchy melodies, blossoming songwriting skills and an enigmatic stage presence, these girls won't stop until they reach the top.
