"There is no pain, you are receding.
A distant ship?s smoke on the horizon.
You are only coming through in waves."

How's Your Taste in Music?
I watch more TV than I thought- my favorite shows are any wrestling I can find (of course), Lost (although I'm getting frustrated with it), The Boondocks, Mind of Mencia, Distraction, Brainiac, Whose Line Is It Anyway, Criminal Minds, Two & 1/2 Men (I've been a Jon Cryer fan ever since I met him on the set of Hiding Out), old British sit-coms (esp Are You Being Served & Waiting For God), and old Tom & Jerry or Looney Tunes.
I was raised by a librarian and spent years working in bookstores. My favorite genres are mystery & fantasy. romance novels are a guilty pleasure, but I guess I have to admit to it. There isn't enough room to list everything, so I'll try to be brief:Anything by Charles deLint (I started with Moonheart); P.N. Elrod's vampire novels, The Eight by Katherine Neville, Bibilioholism by Tom Raabe (I think that's the right author), Vampire Lestat & the Mummy by Anne Rice, regency romance novels (don't ask me why) by Julia Quinn, Stephanie Laurens, & Celeste Bradley; historical romances by Lauren Royal; anything by Katie MacAlister; Bloom County/ Boondocks/ Baby Blues comic strip collections- i'll add more to this list when my brain wakes up!
It may be kind of trite, but my biggest heroes would have to be my parents. They've worked really hard all of their lives and had the patience & fortitude to put up with me (instead of killing me or shipping me off to someone else) when I was a snotty ungrateful brat. I really should tell them that more often than I do.
