About Me

Dazzling fingerstyle guitar, gently soulful vocals and songs aimed straight at the heart: Jon Fletcher weaves strands of English folk, jazz and acoustic pop into a compelling and original take on the troubadour tradition.

A versatile musician skilled on guitar, bouzouki, mandolin and harmonica, Jon's debut album A Month in the Summer confirms a growing reputation as an engaging and inspiring performer and writer. Jon performs solo, as a trio with Colin Fletcher and Jane Griffiths with Lisa Fitgibbon, and as a member of Oxfordshire folk sextet Magpie Lane

As well as performing, Jon is an experienced educator and workshop leader, currently co-running Oxford's Ark-T Youth Music Project and teaching guitar.
