Gordo Gringo came into their own in the studio this spring. Their newly completed sophomore cd, "everybody loves the party" , is a triumph of song craft, mood, and indie-rock sensibility.
Gordo Gringo has headlined such New York City mainstays as Mercury Lounge, Arlenes Grocery, The Cutting Room, The Delancey, Crash Mansion, Plaid, and Tribeca Rock as well as rocking the main stage at festivals and benefits including the UNs No Excuse Concert Benefit, Guitar Player Magazines MeanyFest 2004, NYCs own Rock the Vote 2004 gala, Nemo music conference in Boston and the Americade National Motorcycle Rally. Theyve been featured guests on the WB11's morning show, and local televisions Indie Insider, have performed live sets for WLIR broadcasts, and their song London, NY was featured as part of a national television campaign for Forbes.com.
