"We're totally ready," says MINK singer Neal Carlson.
"To play until the end of time," drummer Stella Mozgawa continues. "Until the end of the universe."
These days it seems rock can move at a snail's pace ... what with bands marching to corporate schedules and marketing strategies, over-thinking everything along the way, it can take a couple of years just to get an album released.
But MINK is seizing the moment ... and intends to hold on tightly.
The band has clearly hit the ground running. Formed just a blink ago in Spring 2006, MINK has already written more than 60 songs (30 of them in one intense three-week stretch), recorded its debut album in just four weeks (with noted producer Sylvia Massy of Red Hot Chili Peppers and Tool fame), shot one of the most fun videos of recent times for its infectious song "Talk to Me" with director Christian Lamb (Madonna, Korn, Kelly Clarkson, Incubus Madonna), had another song "Pressure Pressure" featured nightly in ESPN's 2006 Major League baseball playoffs coverage and has established itself as one of the most exciting new live acts on the scene both in its own club shows and opening big-venue concerts by Angels & Airwaves among others. And all that while going back and forth between New York (from where Carlson hails) and Australia (home to drummer Mozgawa, lead guitarist Nick Maybury, and bassist Grant Fitzpatrick).

Get It Right Video: Official Release!
Hello hello people of myspace. Our "Get It Right" video has been officially released into the world! Here's a little blurb from Grant. x Stella
The 'Get It Right' clip was inspired by The Beatles 'Help' and a Japanese show I watched as a kid called Monkey Magic. It was also an extension of what we did in MINK TV in the fact that we wanted to use Iconic NY locations such as the Coney Island Boardwalk. We shot the clip on a minus zero winter's day and nearly froze our bit's of in those tights , but it was all worth it. Scarlett Johansen was one of the many perplexed onlookers that day as we chased each other around Coney Island & Dumbo . I hope you enjoy Grant Fitz

Hard Rock Cafe round up
Wed like to give a big shout out to the Hard Rock cafe!! and give a big thankyou for all the venues across the USA who had us play and took amazing care of us, i finaly got to see some of Jimi Hendrix's guitars!!

Haircuts
After butchering the luscious locks of Neal and Grant, I had a further request to perform a backyard clipper cut last night. Neal looks like a fully-fledged rockabilly fellow now. There's no going back! Viper room was amazing last night, as it always is - thank you to every single being that was in that room. Thank you also to the homeless man who displayed for my friends and I a 23-minute version of a Tempations tune. Great, great times. See you on the road!

SXSW 08
SXSW this year was such an eventful experience!! we had some of our best shows yet! especially the Aussie bbq. Thankyou blind pig for putting up with us also Takeout and Tijuana, Grill Marketing at the Creekside lounge and last but not least Gary Jay at Landshark promtions for the Captiva show. last but not least all th eamazing people who came to our shows and bought our cds. much love

Optical Illusion in New Orleans
This photo was taken in New Orleans and it is an optical illusion. In the photo, you will see two people who look virtually identical. The trick is to identify Neal, singer of Mink. Although both people look exactly the same, one is not Neal.The second photo is Stella rockin some karate just off Bourbon St. Holla!

Grant Returns to NYOn the east river in Williamsburg on a sunny winter afternoon. I arrived the night before after a long bumpy flight. I spent the day walking round the park and over the Williamsburg bridge into Manhattan to get some pizza from one of my favorite pizza places 'Rosario's in the lower east side. It's great to be back in the big Apple again, we're getting ready to embark on a tour of The Hard Rock Cafe's in nth America at the end of February with a bunch of showcases at Austin's South by South West Music Conference slipped in there as well. Preparations for our next video are being made which will be shot in Manhattan again so keep an eye out for that, or ear, or leg maybe .. G x
