About Me

Neal Carlson is singer of the rock band MINK . You can hear some tunes on the website at www.minkmusik.com or on the myspace site at www.myspace.com/minkmusik
As a solo artist, Neal leans more towards the acoustic. He first started performing publicly in college, writing mainly in the style of what he was listening to at the time: Dave Matthews Band, Paul Simon, and early 90's grunge. His debut solo album, entitled Pseudovibe (and released under the name Neal with an A), is largely a collection of his first tunes as a songwriter. Following its release, influences rooted in country, blues, and soul began to take shape. Today, Neal credits Otis Redding, Rod Stewart, Candi Staton, the Rolling Stones and Frank Black as his main influences. Visit Neal Carlson's website at www.nealcarlson.net . "King City" is the first single off his upcoming solo album, "The Dust and Wind"
