About Me

This page has 4 gordo gringo tracks to download for free. They are from the 2nd time Gordo Gringo went into the studio. It's called "Levittown Chicks EP". We abandoned it 'cause it had more testosterone than we wanted to deal with at this time. However, in retrospect it's kinda interesting. -pj
With a sound both current and cutting edge, Gordo Gringo came into their own in the studio this spring. Their newly completed sophomore cd, "everybody loves the party" , is a triumph of song craft, mood, and indie-rock sensibility.
Gordo Gringo has headlined such New York City mainstays as Mercury Lounge, Arlene’s Grocery, The Cutting Room, The Delancey, Crash Mansion, Plaid, and Tribeca Rock as well as rocking the main stage at festivals and benefits including the UN’s ‘No Excuse’ Concert Benefit, Guitar Player Magazine’s ‘MeanyFest 2004’, NYC’s own ‘Rock the Vote 2004’ gala, Nemo music conference in Boston and the Americade National Motorcycle Rally. They’ve been featured guests on the WB11's morning show, and local television’s ‘Indie Insider’, have performed live sets for WLIR broadcasts, and their song “London, NY” was featured as part of a national television campaign for Forbes.com.

This is 'Bored'. We did this one night instead of practicing. It's a song about internet obsession. -PJ
This is our video for FIRE. We made it ourselves this past summer. Thanks again to everyone involved. It was good fun. - PJ
“The Levittown Chicks EP is what remains from a concept rock record Gordo Gringo set out to record in the late summer of 2004, and abandon in the wake of the 2nd term of George W. Bush. It was meant to be a gift to the American people for recognizing our own mistakes and moving on from our great wrath of tyranny. Gordo Gringo have said that the Album was abandon due to musical differences, and the ever impending strains of fame, however most critics agree that the Gringos were probably so disenchanted with the lack of impact their new politically charged music was having on civilization that they got all artsy and introverted. Regardless, these remaining tracks highlight some of the greatest moments in unpopular pop rock, and show the world what 2 guys that work at the UN and 2 wanna be starving artist vegetarians can do in a 26’X16’ room.” - Top Toppy 2005
