About Me

The Reactions are a power trio. Well not really, but it sounds much tougher than nifty little rock'n'roll band. Sometimes they get lucky and get to play with proper bands such as The White Stripes, The Greenhornes, The Black Keys, The Living End, Dallas Crane, Jebediah, The Hard Ons, The Drones, End of Fashion, The Pictures, The Mess Hall, The Vasco Era, Even, and Rocket Science when they come to town. Usually they just gig for kicks with people around town who also have bands. Besides what's more fun than playing in a band with your mates on a Friday night? Nothing, that's what. Well nothing that doesn't involve a cask of Wild Peach, midgets and a wading pool fill with tepid baby oil.
They finished recording material in late 2006 for their second full length independant album. These new songs draw on influences from 60’s American garage punk and psychedelica, British freakbeat, 60's R’n’B and a bunch of nifty Australian bands. Quite frankly this may/or may not possibly be the greatest album in the universe ever.
If you send the Reactions a msg on MySpace, they will write back. If you have a band and send them a message saying how neat you think they are there is a fair chance that you will have massaged their egos enough for them to suggest that your collective bands do a gig together. It's all about getting kicks y'know?
