James Maddock

James Maddock is my name. I live is sunny Tasmania, where I was born. I run a management/event coordination/promotion business called JHM Entertainment. I love to have a good time and make sure everyone else is having a good time.I’ve been playing saxophone for 21 years and hopefully will be for at least another 21. Studied at the Sydney Conservatorium in the early 90’s. I’m a member of the James Maddock Swing 4 (obviously!), Unleash the Nugget, and I freelance a lot. Last year I did the Big Day Out tour playing with the Violent Femmes which was a real hoot. Also played with Dan Barnett, George Washingmachine, Al Davey, James Morrison, Don Burrows, Tom Baker, Phil Manning, Bob Barnard.I love to be around people who enjoy life, who make great music, and have a desire to do great things.
