'Twas a temperate evening when Wolfgang Fang and Andy Burnout staggered into Andy's underground lair, still high from the gig they had just witnessed. Casually discussing the dynamics of power pop, they clumsily clutched their guitars and began to play music from another era – The Jam, The Nerves and Van Morrison flooded into their minds and extremities. Guitars were fallen on, neighbours were annoyed and rare 7inch LPs were scratched, as the two bellowed along to the vinyl. Outside, the clouds parted, the moon shone bright and bitter, and a strange transformation occurred. Blood began to boil, minds became alert, hair stood on end, eyes blurred, rock talons erupted from fingers, incisors tore through gums, revealing pointed fangs and their guitars seemed like extensions of their pulsing limbs.
Weeks later, somewhat shaken from their primal, fanged, garage, Rock, dirty pop, punk, moonlit Teenage swamp stomp, they decided to search for a third brethren. Another 'Fanged' member to complete the small pack. Wolfgang knew of one altered beast for the job. Making their way to Casa del Maghull, Mat Fang was found feasting on the blood of a recently acquired kit of drums, complete with sticks and the skin of faux animals.
The Fangs tore through a set and ripped it to shreds. There was no food chain, just three lycanthropes, wailing and having a damn good time. High Fangs came to life. Mat Fang completed the circle and a debaucherous celebration ensued. Wolfgang Fang required a kidney donor the following evening.
The boys had played in bands before, but nothing was as primal or exciting as the union of these three beast-like individuals. They had experienced venues like The Espy, The East Brunswick Club, Pony, Ding Dong, The Evelyn, The Spanish Club, The Tote and The Rob Roy in other bands, so the boys were no stranger to the town they were about to unleash their raw energy onto.

One thing you can be sure of, a High Fangs gig is three energetic beasts, playing gritty pop rock and having a wail of a time doing it. The only question is, will you be joining in?
