The Vasco Era / The Fumes / The Novocaines
The Zoo (BRISBANE) - 9/11/2007
Take three bands beginning with ‘The’ who all know how to rock the fuck out, and you've instantly got a pretty great night. The Novocaines play an impressive set, filled with killer Zeppelin-inspired lead guitar breaks and excellent stage presence. Judging by the heavy merch desk traffic, they've won a bunch of fans tonight. - RAVE MAGAZINE
The Vasco Era / The Fumes / The Novocaines
Amplifier Bar (PERTH) - 1/11/2007
The Audience came in late and missed the Novocaines’ set; not that it made them any less enthusiastic in their performance. For the 20-or-so people who were standing around the bar, the Novocaines played as if they were the main act. And so they should. These boys are an exploding plastic inevitable, and in case you missed the reference, they have a cover of Waiting for the Man to help you place their sound. Go early next time, they are worth missing your dinner for. - FASTERLOUDER.COM
The Vasco Era / The Fumes / The Novocaines
Jive Bar (ADELAIDE)
I ventured to Jive once again on a Saturday night just in time to catch the tail end of the opening set from Perth's Novocaines. I only caught a couple of songs but from what I heard and saw, these guys are quite awesome. Doing their first shows outside of WA, the four-piece faithfully channelled the spirit of the likes of The Velvet Underground and The Easybeats with a tremendous amount of ferocity. - DB MAGAZINE..
