Music:

I used to play and manage bands and produce sound for concerts and for CD's. I was a morning FM radio host in the past. Now I find that I still like rock and metal and r&b and many female artists. Like Indigo Girls, and Madonna. If I am into an artist it is usually because of something they have said or their politics. I liked the Dixie Chicks for being honest and speaking up back at a time when everyone else was a coward. Mainly I listen to new age music and nature sounds on the ipod.I Hate Country Music in general. I also like belly dance music, Jpop is great, and I likedthe Pussycat Dolls. Goddess Bless Tenacious D!! I also love metal, black metal especially.

Movies:

Blade, The Grudge, Skeleton Key, Corpse Bride, Kung Fu Hustle, Ong Bak, Elektra, Constantine, White Noise. ...anything with vampires, vampyres, white light, wicca, wiccan, witchcraft, witches and the paranormal, not really horror as much as supernatural. I see lots of movies and DVD's my partner is a film critic. Animé and lots of it. So much that even when I made a complete list there were too many disks to count. Silent Hill, An Inconvenient Truth, Art School Confidential, Ultra Violet, Da Vinci Code sucked, Thank You for Smoking, Clerks 2, Chance with Amber Benson and James Marsters, I despise Hollywood movies for things like what they did to the family that owned the Amityville Horror house, and then called it "Based on a True Story". They are grredy and wastefull. Too much talent is being left behind. I like anything that was produced anyplace else usually. The original Wickerman movie was a masterpiece. The Fountain should have been best picture 2006, Remakes, rehashes of old TV shows, it's all too lame Hollywood is in its decline, '07 was a suck year for movies.

Television:

Anything on the Asian network, Angel, Anime', Bewitched, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Charmed, Coupling, I Dream of Jeannie, Hex,Inuyasha, Iron Chef, Jackie Chan, Janeane Garofalo, Martial arts movies, Monty Python, Miami Ink, No Reservations, Xena, X-files...

Books:

Buy my book please! Our book collection is too vast there is just too much to mention. Of course there is my book see above and buy one pretty please. I also wrote two great Wiccan books about nature, natural health and food. I have read a ton of fantasy, of the sword and sorcery sort. I have a decent Dragonlance collection. These days I am more interested in stuff that regards the future - not the past. One book that is particularly inspiring to me is Margaret Cho's book "I Have Chosen to Stay and Fight." I read lots of books about natural health, gardening and Japanese cooking. I have been enjoying everything by Anthony Bourdain starting with Kitchen Confidential. He's a kick ass writer and an inspiration, esp since he talks about old Cape Cod where I'm from. Anything by the Dali Lama. We have one room full wall to wall, of books by women, or about women. My reading pile numbers in the thousands. There are a fwillion comics and graphic novels here too. For mags I regualrly read Gamasutra, Wired, EGM, PSM, New Type, Animé and Tokyopop.

Heroes:

Angelina Jolie, Madonna, Diane Stein, Ellen Degeneris, Margaret Cho, Martha Stewart, Starhawk, Cat Von De, Morgan Webb and all the women that used to be on Tech TV, Lara Croft, Xena, Ryn, Super Gals, Sango, Promethia, Gloria Steinam, Jane Fonda. The Mother Goddess.
