iP, (full official title: Imaginary Palaces, Castles Of The Mind) is a free Chat environment similar to The Palace, or The Manor.
In it chatters wear full color 32 bit Avatars that can be up to 672x672 pixels in size and can be animated.
You can make your own Avatars with iP's built in paint program to wear or share with others.
You can also import images in PNG, BMP, JPG, or PSP formats or paste from your image editing software of choice.

There are several Chat hosts to host the free iP chat server software. (The server and clients are free, the hosts are not).
Or people can run their own Windows or Linux iP server on their own computer or VPS.
You can create your own topical iP server. Your own virtual world in cyberspace.
iP servers can have an unlimited number of rooms.
iP rooms can have animated pictures or even videos such as .avi or .mpg or .wmv
iP rooms can have games in them or other scripted functions such as a directory to other rooms or web sites.
iP rooms can have up to 4 active web browser windows inside them for web enhanced content.
