This is is not your granddaddy's blues. Michael Robinson plays a distinctive brand of fun, up-tempo music known as "Roadhouse Blues & Roots Rock" -- a blend of retro rock and contemporary blues. With catchy tunes, clever lyrics and gutsy vocals, it all adds up to a rockin' good time.
In addition to original songs that are passionate, intense and unique, the live show offers a mix of fun, uptempo covers. So whether you've got the top down on your car, or you're dancing on the bar, Michael Robinson has music you'll love.
He tears through the songs on his new CD Playing in the Dark like a man possessed. No wonder the music sounds so good. Playing in the Dark also showcases Michael’s gift for clever lyrics yet simple honest stories, his trademark gutsy vocal style and tasty solos. So, check out his new CD and if you’re in the Bay Area, catch him live. He puts on a great show.
