About Me

Herman Melville was an impostor. A very talented impostor. Writing Moby Dick - his most famous novel and a descent to hell - he worked up his allegedly authentic adventures on the high seas. During that fall into the abyss the authors psychedelic style of writing draws the reader more and more down to the bottom of the sea only to spit him out again a minute later.
Fascinated with this visual way of narration Biggles started writing songs about struggling with destiny, ones living environment and - in the end - oneself. While the audience is always left without knowing whether or not Biggles is an impostor himself, the credibility and urgency of the songs are always for sure. Its a hypnotic dive for the colossus.
In spring 2005 the recording sessions for the album started. Besides the talents already working on Biggles last album (Adrian Weyermann producing and playing several instruments, Thomas Winkler forging new and exciting sounds on the keyboards), this time new faces showed as well: Singha Dee contributed the drum tracks, Claudia Remondino and Flo Götte shared bass parts.
