First of all a music lover. Journalist writing for many Polish magazines for ten years. He hosted a popular radio show called Funkadelia on Radiostacja and worked for Redbull Music Academy project.In 2005 Marcin released a compilation "I Feel Good" which will soon turn into a series. Before, in 1999 he released a precursory "Plastikfikation Beat 1".As a dj HARPER specializes in a very dynamic and highly explosive, kick-ass fusion of breaks, tech-funk, jackin house and good electronic 4/4 stuff.all about fat beats and even fatter basslines.As a member of Beats Friendly he presents his second speciality: black grooves, classic & mellow hip hop, reggae, ragga, dancehall but it is still all about the funk and good fun.
With Novika, Lexus and Bartek Winczewski, he's a co-author of eclectic but tasty dance compilation called "Friendly Beats"He used to play with a band Futro and still collaborates with Molly (chill-beats project, ex- Waxfood). Together with Bert they set up the first DJ duo in Poland, Boogie Mafia .In his colourful DJing career Harper has played with many well known artists (and stars too), for example:Chemical Brothers, UNKLE, Basement Jaxx, Plump DJs,Koma & Bones, Elite Force, Arrested Developement, Lee "Scratch" Perry, Freestylers, Santon Warriors, Dub Pistols / Barry Ashworth, Tony Vegas, Meat Katie, Lee Coombs, Audio Bullys, Adam Freeland, Chicken Lips, Soul Of Man, Dylan Rhymes, Rennie Pilgrem, Tayo, Paul Arnold, Dreadzone, Krafty Kuts, Etienne De Crecy, DJ Krust, Cut La Roc, Morcheeba, Jimi Tenor, to name just a few.He also played with many Polish artists, such as: Fisz, Tworzywo Sztuczne, Sistars, Cinq G, Masala Sound System, Zjednoczenie Sound System etcMartin was part of the jury of prestigious Heineken Music Thirst , he took part in Miller Fresh project, played at Red Bull King Of Air and Heineken Open'er Festival (twice), Smirnoff Experience, Summer Of Music festival and many other important events.Profile Edited by MPS MySpace Editor 2.0..
