About Me

All About Jazz writes: "Blending improvisation with electronics-based music, Wagon 8 is a strong debut for Øgrim's less-than-conventional instrument and collective". full review here.
Get "Wagon 8" (released march 2007) from iTunes (for iPod)
t e l l e f T V
"Wagon8" was released by Curling Legs productions in March 2007. On it you can hear Jacek Kochan , Dag Einar Eilertsen , , Anne Danielsen and Henrik Hellstenius . It was recorded and mixed at Bugges Room here in Oslo.
In 2004 I released the solo CD Some Dodos never Die and in both 2005 and 06 I played at the Fretless Guitar Festival in NYC. One exclusive track of mine can be heard at the double CD "Village of the Unfretted", alongside music from fretless guitarists of 17 countries
The new CD explores the expressive potential of the fretless guitar in a musical landscape of post 1970 Scandinavian improvisational, contemporary electronic sounds.
