About Me

PLEASE NOTE: I am becoming increasingly less likely to add anyone who does not send a message with their add request. I like connecting with people who are genuinely interested in me and/or my music...and i like adding new bands and people that i am genuinely interested in...however, if you/I do not fall into that category, please do not request my friendship. Thankyou/me.
"Lee Barbour is at the forefront of the modern music scene" --Britney Spears
Here's what other experts are saying about Lee Barbour's music!
"I'm afraid your tracks weren't chosen because we consider them too alternative to be included in our magazine. Please take a look at our website to get a better idea of the type of music we select." - Jazz Magazine
Whether adding his own spin to unique genres such as gypsy swing, (Caravan) exploring improv with The Illuminati Outro, making the head nod indie jazz of Gradual Lean, melting faces with the swamp rock of Cary Ann Hearst and the Gun Street Girls, or using his computer for both good and evil... he is a part of an ever-growing community of musicians who are empowering themselves in the new music industry... 2006 has seen the release of Caravan's "A Night in Samois", solo performances in Mexico as part of the International Guitar Festival, a soon to be released duo album with jazz guitarist, Joe Beck (Miles Davis, Paul Simon, James Brown) and plans for world peace. 2007 has included touring the southeast opening for Band of Horses, playing the Austin City Limits Festival with CAH, and squinting toward world peace. In addition, he teaches jazz guitar at the college of charleston, composes for film and tv and collaborates with as many great musicians, songwriters, filmakers, and human beings as possible...

I want my representative in the U.S House of Representatives to vote to impeach George w. Bush, Richard B Cheney, Condoleezza Rice, Donald H. Rumsfeld, and Alberto Gonzales for high crimes and misdemeanors, and to have the case prosecuted and tried in the U.S Senate.

The Illuminati Outro is the convergence of four musician/composers, armed with acoustic and electronic tendencies, to collaborate on original music that delights/devours its audience...reverb drenched indie jazz that says, "i could wear spandex". Pieces may include group composition, arrangements for folk songs, solo improv and acoustic/electronic duets. None of these guidelines actually exist, and they will be adhered to strictly.
