SUITABLE CASE FOR TREATMENT (RIP)

split up have we? giving up the dream, yeah?

About Me

So yeah.... there you have it... we had a great time making all that 'orrible racket and we'd like to say thanks to everyone for all your support...We'd just like to let everyone know that it was in fact Ronan - from Oxford's finest music rag Nightshift , who instigated the split.... Reason being, he asked us to play at his 30th birthday party and play a Gary Numan cover. This was a lot of fun. But we soon realised that we would never, ever, write a song as good as the Gazza himself. So we thought….. Might as well call it a day then!

Suitable Case for Treatment RIP.... But never fear. As if we didn't put ourselves though enough trauma, Myself and Rex have join a new hardcore noise pop band with this guy called EDUARD SOUNDINGBLOCK , bit of a bastard, but still, you got to love him. And Liam and Brian Damage (Pete Ward is his real name) Have begun to create hell on earth with there new project called MEPHISTO GRANDE . It's as if Suitable Case has moved forth and multiplied! You lucky people,,,

Anyhow... hope to see you at the last .... sniff ...gig

5 years ago Liam Ings-Reeves left the circus for good.

His father continued to tour as a trapeze artist for the circus troupe Burlesque, whilst Liam staggered eastwards.

Weaned upon performance of the weird and wonderful and possessing only a guitar and a voice like roaring thunder he formed SUITABLE CASE FOR TREATMENT with Jimmy Evil and Rex Diablo, guitar and bass players, respectively.

Later they shanghaied drummer Rican Caol from his worldwide touring with a folk band and challenged him to get his head around their time signatures. Rican did an admirable job but THE CASE finally broke him and Brian Damage was recruted adding yet another dynamic to the rambunctious assault on the ears of the world.

Due to the chemically enhanced and artificially preserved 21st Century diet, the band suffer from Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, preventing them from holding a straight thought for longer than a few bars. They produce blocks of solid noise that split in two to form scouring heavy staccato metal riffs and in turn spiral down into gypsy jazz or country waltzes, with Liam howling like a furious preacher sending our souls to damnation only to then spew out the gibbers of a perverted primate or quietly mutter like a malcontent old timer.

The flavours of their music are bitter, tangy and searingly hot and the preservative that keeps it all fresh is the soundclash of influences and eclectic composition
