Australian Beat smith Plutonic Lab has been producing records since 1995 & his work has featured on over 40 LPs, Singles & Compilations, He has received praise here & abroad for his solo LPs "Give Me Sabotage Shell" , "Collision Of Days" & the more recent "Codes Over Colours" as well as being voted best producer three years running on www.OzHipHop.com .

Since signing to Obese Records in 2004 Pluto has delivered four Stunning LPs & a swag of singles & remixes, Muph & Plutonic's "Hunger Pains" (Triple J & SBS Alchemy feature album), Pegz "Axis" (Triple J feature album) , "Codes Over Colours" (3RRR feature album) & Muph & Plutonic "Silence The Sirens" (Triple J feature album).

Plutonic's next level beats has provided the backdrop for artists including Renee Geyer, Fatlip (Pharcyde), Boston's Esoteric (7L & Esoteric), Eternia (Canada), Taskforce (Lowlife) & Lotek (Roots Manuva/Big Dada) to name a few, whilst releasing music over the last 12 years on labels Obese, Warner, Creative Vibes, Sony (Asia), Elefant Traks, LandSpeed (U.S.), & Brick Records (U.S.) & Melbournes highly respected Hip Hop Label Nuffsaid Records.

Plutonic has performed numerous shows in Australia and Asia. Opening for the likes of The Pharcyde, People Under The Stairs, Ozomatli, Spikey T, Mad Professor, Lee Scratch Perry, MC Supernatural, DJ Shadow, Money Mark, Hilltop Hoods, Koolism, The Next Men, Mr Lif, Cage, Swollen Members, Braintax & Mystro, & events such as Cockatoo Island Festival, Obese Block Party 1, 2, 3 & 4, Pyramid Rock Festival, Falls Festival & Golden Plains Festival (Meredith) amongst others.
Most recently Plutonic has been busy completing Ivens debut LP "Sounds To Expire To" (Eco Tone), remixing The Hilltop Hoods "The Hard Road" Single & Urthboy's "We Get Around" (Elefant Traks).

Currently Pluto is touring as Muph & Plutonic hit the road nationally. Plutonic Lab was also recently nominated Best Producer at the 2006 DMA Awards.
