Saki was born and raised in Melbourne’s favourite playground by the sea, St Kilda. Growing up as an Australian/South Pacific Islander from an early age was influenced massively by family house parties blaring Bob Marley, The Eagles, Jimi Hendrix and Cold Chisel. Saki fell in love with the Hip Hop, Breaking and Graffiti scene as young as 11. Starting out as a Dj in 1998 he has since developed his own unique style, blending New and Old School Hip Hop with R&B, plus a little Reggae/Dancehall and 70’s/80’s Funk for added flavour. Saki has also created a buzz in the Melbourne mixtape game with over a dozen mixtapes (Promotional Use Only) with styles ranging from Soulful Slow Jams, Club Bangin R&B, Classic Old School Hip Hop and Reggae. He is currently studying for his Diploma in Music Production at Melbournes S.A.E College. Working with fellow Beat makers, Dj's, Mc's & vocalists Saki is destined to take his production skills to another level. ......ON.THE.RISE.2007...... ......YA.BOI.SAKI......
