About Me

Please contact us directly through ***email*** if you are inquiring about a potential project.
In 2003, Casa Nova Studios began as a modest project/recording studio in Dumbo for Tommy and scottT. A home cooked concoction of anything electronic we had, every cable around, anything we could borrow on short term, and a Powerbook G4. All within one very strange loft space, Studio A was born.
With this, we began making our own record for a band we call Nova Clutch , while taking on a few small projects. A year of that brought us many small successes, and a few big ones. The studio would be upgraded steadily, adding horsepower to our quick gaining production efforts.
But something was missing: a 3rd partner in crime to complete the group both spiritually and in talents. In 2004, almost immediately after the release of the Nova Clutch debut album " Band of Three? ", Nick would come to us as the missing link to move forward with confidence for our most ambitious works. He was convinced to become a bass player for the band, even though his extensive training was in guitar.
With the team completed and ambitious, an impressive client list was garnished. Quality music was made; clear mixes were mixed. A steady stream of work would result in the expansion of a second B studio where pre production could occur along side the mixing and creating of other projects. Also at this time, Studio A was doubled in size.
But something was still missing.
Although it has treated them very well over the years, the loft space of the studio was growing limited for the depths of production and technology being utilized. The dream for a new and improved facility would begin to loom. Not even a year before Nick had joined up, fate would usher in the next step: to build a better facility from scratch.
In November 2005, we broke ground with producer Werner F and began to build the kind of facility we'd always wanted, located in Williamsburg. This studio would contain two full control rooms, a good sized live room, and a roomy lounge. We've been moved in and working since February 2006 and everything is moving along just dandy!
A large update of our website and myspace is currently in the works, and soon you'll be able to see our lovely facility in photographs, video, and plenty of our finished projects...until then you can peep our lovely website for little bits of info (client lists, music, video, contact info, etc):
