About Me

I can't stop singing and sometimes I record the evidence and post it here.

I grew up in Brusly, Louisiana, and I sleep there most often now.

May 9 I graduate with a BA in English, then I'm disappearing for a while to figure out what I want to do next.

For now you can catch me anywhere from Houston to Memphis pretty regularly, usually with an instrument and/or books, hanging around with odd sorts of people.

"Tyronza," "River Queen" and "Shake It On Down" are rough drafts of originals; "Something About What Happens When We Talk" is a Lucinda Williams song that I recorded a couple of years ago.

Something.

So I got my mic working on GarageBand last night and did a quick rendition of Lucinda's "Something About What Happens When We Talk." I realize the effect (which is just the default "Live Performance" ...
