Tuesday hawkins is a project that was started back in may of 06 and is almost finally completed. shayna foley is a singer/songwriter from small town, coweta, ok. grew up in phoenix, arizona and somehow laned in los angeles after graduation... she has been performing and singing since the age of five. She moved to nashville in 2004 from Long beach, ca, where she wrote rock music for 6 long years and opened for such acts as Berlin, rocco deluca, Maroon5, boss tweed,joe purdy, buchanan, the dity bops, bird 3, the dibs, mickey's big mouth, abagail( the rock opera band) and General Publics. within a year's time of being in nashville she gained a wonderful network of songwriters and friends. she has sung on trent jeffcoats record "save country music" as well as provided vocals, and written with songwriters such as mark stephen jones, scott st. louis, and ray sisk. Her writing style is just plain honest, with influences that range from classic country to rock to classical... shayna lives in antioch,Tn with her husband and their 24 month old son.. and one more on the way next spring...So, needless to say life has been busy. shayna, writes and produces her own material at home and appears occasionally around town. she is working with the very gifted glenn spinner on the tuesday hawkins project and will have a fully produced demo ready to shop very soon.
