Clients,"CREATIVE" people,friends ?...OPEN MINDED, cool peeps to meet, who appreciates "Visual Arts" or "Art" in general..please..NO DRAMA,NO ALCOHOLICS with blackouts,who can't Remember things,Drink in bars Everyday, and Blame Everyone Else but their pathetic selves, for things in their screwed up lives..lol (I've eliminated THOSE people in my life)..OMG, YOU know who YOU are(AND NO.., I HAVE NEVER DRANK IN MY LIFETIME..NOR AM I A RECOVERING ALCOHOLIC!!!..LOL..YUK,I just don't like the taste..it's like drinking rubbing alcohol out of my medicine cabinet! and pouring it into my soda! Or wine? Uh., Can I have a glass of VINEGAR?...eEEWW!....NETWORK! NETWORK! NETWORK! I am into interesting visuals...guess that's why I'M a PHOTOGRAPHER??!!!and soon, FILM PRODUCER..,same principles, one just moves 24 fps(frames per second)..and YES!...THEY "STILL use "FILM !!"...I personally think digital is a separate "ART"... "FORM" of photography..,"NOT" the ART of "Photography" itself(I can do EVERYTHING "in" a FILM CAMERA, "manually", NO "auto" anything! I always shoot Full Frame and Crop inside my camera I NEVER have to OR HAVE USED PHOTOSHOP myself! Robert Doisneau,Alfred Stieglitz~who made the world recognize "Photography" as "Modernism ART" Edward Steichen,Paul Strand,Irving Penn,Edward Weston,Dorothea Lange,Henri Cartier-Bresson,Richard Avedon,Ansel Adams,Helmut Newton or Herb Ritts (I have 'personally' printed some of 'his' early Black & White 'negatives'/ Photo's for films)..., never used it...OF COURSE,I DO NOT compare myself to these greats but I miss doing my esoteric ART photography..because I have to sustain a "living" in the commercial world..and the producers/advertising clients own my film and can do what they will to the film later,I have no control of that... I just get the shot done that my clients want and approve. ALL "IN" the camera the first time around..and you can NEVER get a "TRUE" Black & White photo from digital or make it archival..nor get the "depth" in both Color and Black and White photo's..people have lost the "ART" of lighting etc..and just get lazy doing it on digital(photo-shopping EVERYTHING in or out later..THAT to me is NOT a real photographer)It is great to use digital as,"itself",ART.. but NOT to "CORRECT" EVERYTHING YOU SCREWED UP WHILE ACTUALLY SHOOTING THE PHOTO in "THAT MOMENT".., THE FIRST TIME AROUND!!! BEING ABLE TO CALCULATE ALL OF THE PHOTO IN "THAT INSTANT" is Brilliant..and takes skill! Don't think "Horst","Ansel Adams" or "Helmut Newton" used photoshop,...right? love & prefer printing my own B&W photo's in the darkroom, and the only difference between a professional photographer and an amateur photographer is that a professional does photography for a LIVING...for sole income..I envy the "pure" ART photographers who trully CAN do what THEY want to do..but I am here for the love of money and the good life..not starving all the time(ie.starving artist syndrome/have to wait till I die before my Art is worth any $$'s..lol)...So I have to do THAT in my spare time..of which,lately,I don't have much of..And have succumb to the masses of freelance commercialism, yeah, I sold out)DON'T GET ME WRONG...ITS NOT THAT I DON'T USE A DIGITAL CAMERA for certain jobs, I just prefer using Film..especially for BW photo's...But NOW I'm a filmmaker shooting and producing films as well,which is keeping me really busy, hooked into some TIGHT film associates, FINALLY.., and have put together a team of professional people/friends who are doing what we LOVE!...FILM...to support my love of travelling and shopping(love high tech gadgets/love The Sharper Image Store,electronic and camera stuff and clothes(yet I'm NOT really a clothes whore but I AM into designer labels...I prefer "QUALITY" THREADS not Quantity)...Sorry A.D.D. has set in and...LASTLY., I DON'T ADD NEW FRIENDS IF I HAVE NOT REQUESTED YOU DIRECTLY!!!! I AM NOT INTERESTED IN HAVING LOTS & LOTS & LOTS OF FRIENDS!!! thank you/mahalo, THAT IS NOT MY GOAL HERE!!!You may NETWORK but generally I DO NOT ADD FRIENDS UNLESS I KNOW YOU or KNOW WHO YOU ARE for networking OR HAVE REQUESTED YOU DIRECTLY...!!!!I DON'T WANT SPAM sent to me by tainted profile pages..DELETE DELETE!!!SORRY...I WILL LOOK at your profiles, but I do not ADD YOU.., JUST.., to ADD YOU, so I can fill up "My" "FRIENDS" section with strange?%$@! huh?
