Out you come mister...

About Me

Big Mama to Sam, my fantastic 1 year old little boy, who is keeping me very busy at the moment! Apart from that I have done a multitude of things - some good/ some bad and some indifferent- some inspired- some rather stupid! I have also done a huge amount of administrative work over the years, which has probably kept me on the straight and narrow- and kept me in shoes, booze and fun tickets to be sure...Apart from that I started singing when I was 16, in a variety of dodgy goth/experimental/noise/industrial type bands, which resulted in a record deal with now defunct-but-legendary World Serpent. The band was Primordia and I shall say no more other than it was 'of its time'...Also did a club/music/bands type night back then, and have enjoyed DJing at various parties and the odd club ever since (although not since I moved back to the 'Smoke in 2005 as I currently have no decks and have been busy doin' other stuff) I'm a shite DJ but I love playing records out and about ( my friend Tim once generously referred to me as a 'selector')done lots of 'art' of one kind or another but never trained- all self-taught...have been called an auto-didact...but I seem to manage ok in spite of it (ha ha)I've exhibited some of my paintings around Bristol, where I used to live- worked at a therapeutic art community back then- and I firmly belive that art can transform your life- even if it doesn't match up to the kind of art that the market is flogging these days- or what is taught in art schools for that matter- it still counts. I seem to have spent an inordinate amount of time in my life dressing up outrageously and going out clubbing, or to gigs, parties, raves, squat parties, happenings etc...not sure where this has got me but I had a great time! Oh yeah- and last year I made a 13 part series for Resonance FM called The Shoe Show. ________________________________________________________ The Shoe Show on Resonance 104.4FM or via the web at www.resonancefm.com The (Erstwhile) Shoe Show Blog is at www.theshoeshow.blogspot.com.
