About Me

Ok am doing something proper now. Am still Holistic therapist & involved in energy work ie chaneling, working with Reiki as well as holistic, on site & sports massag.Life Review: Spent the 70's jumping up and down & skateboarding; much of the 80's jumping up and down to rock, punk and metal; first half of the 90's jumping up and down to grunge and techno; latter half the 90s under the kitchen sink; to date gently swaying.Have been playing bass for a long time, long enough to know I should be better at it. Have had played in several bands beginning with Zengrenade (rock wiv tunes and mad wildebeast front man, Matthew). We had our 3mins 30 of 'fame' when we got our video on MTV in about 92/3 or so but broke up through loss of drummer then lack wild front man (both still alive and well one in Camden as far as I know and one in NZ). I played for Rumorosa for a while (previously known as Joy Ride with Kathy Freeman of Birdhouse - stand corrected, sorry Kathy who is doing wonderful music in Berlin so check her out). This was followed up by a brief period with Brigandage who I hope are still going.Having sworn never to play bass again when working towards my degree in fine art & photography because by selling the amp (Ampeg SVTII with matching cab) etc I could get a VERY nize camera/mac etc. So I ended up promising KB to start practicing for the Shock Headed Peters when I finished my course. After the degree I didn't play get to play with the Peters and worked in a 3piece all girl Zen love rock band called On with Allison Phillips (ex ATV) on the advise of Karl. This successfully died a death when I went off to college again to train as an holistic therapist while Sam, our singer went to Central America.During this time I swore I'd never play bass again because I could sell the amp get a fantastic massage chair, cheap computer and a printer all ready to start self employment when I was tempted by possible gigs lined up with the Peters. After promising to relearn the set list I joined Kenny Wisdom's Long Decline courtesy of Karl Blake and found out that absolutely everybody knows eachother and it is possibly all ATV's fault. The final nail in the coffin for proof of this was being asked to join Angel Racing Food which, of course I did.BUT, meeting the rest of the Peters ie Naked Ruby & Simon King was absolutely fab and Paris is wonderful so hugs & kisses Mr Blake. Come on Blakey when's the next set of dates.
