I like old westerns, foreign films and indie films. The best movie I've seen in a while is a Chilean film called Machuca about two boys, one upper class and one poor, who form a friendship amidst social and political turmoil. My other favorite movies are the Red Violin, The Story of the Weeping Camel, Children of Heaven, the Joy Luck Club, The Motorcycle Diaries, Easy Rider, Key Largo, How the West Was Won, and To Sir With Love.

I do a lot of reading. Anything by David McCullough or John Steinbeck is worth reading. For magazines, I read No Depression (my favorite), Guitarist, Guitar Techniques, Mojo and Classic Rock regularly. Every country music fans should read "Will the Circle Be Unbroken: Country Music In America."
The Desert Rose Band.. who I saw as a teenager.
