About Me

Hi-I'm a Musician living in the Seattle area. I play the Indian Sitar, Russian Balalaika, Appalachian Dulcimer, Italian Mandoline, Recorder, Banjo, Ukelin Zither, Indian Tamboura, Acoustic & Electric Guitar, and SPECIALISING in 12 String (Electric & Acoustic) Guitar.I most enjoy playing the "Banjo rolling" style of Roger McGuinn (The Byrds founder & leader) on my prised Rickenbacker 360/12CW 12 String Guitar.I first saw the The Beatles movie "Help!" at age 14, and this sealed my fate as a musician!! My ALL TIME FAVOURITE musician is the late great Brian Jones, original leader and guitarist/multi-instrumentalist of The Rolling Stones. My ALL TIME FAVOURITE band is The Byrds, and my ALL TIME FAVOURITE GUITARIST is Roger McGuinn. Hands down!My ALL TIME FAVOURITE SONGWRITERS are John Lennon, Bob Dylan, & Gene Clark.John Denver is also a HUGE influence, especially as a guitarist, and through his love of Aviation.I think Karen Carpenter is the single greatest vocalist that ever set foot on this, or any other planet.I would like very much to play music with like minded folks again, but only in a non-working enviorement. I've paid my dues in the last 25 years!!I also love airplanes, being the son of a retired airline pilot, and grew up around Aviation. I have some solo flight time in Cessna 152's, Piper Cherokee's & Tomahawk's, and many hours of dual time in Dad's Cessna UC-78B "Bobcat" (The famous "Sky King" bird!!)I also collect and cherish old model kits from the 1950's & '60's, PLUS we have a website:"The Boxart Den" at http://theboxartden.comHere, I restore old model kit box tops to look BETTER THAN NEW. ALSO, be sure to check out my favourites on You Tubehttp://www.youtube.com/craviola880I hope you enjoy "My Space"!Peace, Love, & Understanding, Christian
