Mes Passions Dans La Vie

Men are the new women. Think about it...

Art, music, literature, and theatre are so important.
They're the only things that make us different from animals.

I get email asking, so...
I make my profile layouts myself. I've made most of the images and animations on my pages as well. I love coding, which pretty much qualifies me as a novice nerd. I wish I had more time to spend on it because I think it's fun.

I'm a city girl with a deep love for the sea. And horses.
I'm happiest on a beach, on the back of a horse, or pounding city pavement. Put them all together and I'm gone. I'm seriously addicted to shellfish. I love big dogs, especially security breeds.

I'm a "guys gal" but I love my women friends too.
I don't suffer fools gladly and I'm told I'm very funny, and extremely bright. Either I've got truly kind friends, or they're adroit liars, lolz.

This page is my Valentine to the Island of Manhattan
and all that is majick within it ♥

I'd like to meet:

♥ ⇔ ⇔ ♥

Music:

I moved the music player to the top of the page
where the navigation bar used to be.

Use the little arrows on it to find something
you want to hear - there are 70 tracks to choose from ♥

Passions Dans La Musique

If it got airplay on the underground FM rock stations of the late 60s and early 70s, I'm all over it.

I'm also partial to Industrial, Jazz, Avant Garde, Goth,
Tejano (go figure), and Argentinian music.
I'm half French, so I guess it appeals to my half-Latin heart.

For the most part I'm allergic to country music - it makes me break out in an ick attack ♥

Movies:

Passionné Au Sujet Des Films

I'll watch a documentary about almost anything, and have gone to see such obscure ones that I was the only person sitting in the theatre. I send love and undying gratitude to the men who've sat patiently by my side while I absorbed a subtitled documentary about Bolivian revolutionaries or something...

Jesus, I sound like Woody Allen, next I'll be recommending
"The Sorrow and The Pity".

I'm an equal opportunity flick chick though - I've cheerfully viewed my share of action films as payback ♥

Television:

Sur Le Téléviseur
I spent years working as a reporter, and can honestly say I've never actually watched a regular network TV show since I was a kid.
I watch way too much cable news, and I am breathlessly awaiting the arrival of Al-Jazeera in English, which was SUPPOSED to have been cable and satellite available by last May. Where is it?
Their newsroom fascinates me, and if I were still a reporter, I'd pay them to let me work there.
I think "Sex And The City" is funny as hell because it's pretty close to the truth. Except for the shoes. No NYC journalist who writes for anyone other than maybe "The New York Times" could afford $40,000 dollars worth of shoes annually.
I'm from a long line of Manhattan and Brooklynites, and I know damn well how much it costs to live in NYC.
I guess sitcom writers have alot of faith in
our willing suspension of disbelief ♥

Woody Harrelson's Father...

I covered Charles Harrelson's murder-for-hire trial as a very young reporter when I was fresh out of school - several years before we ever heard of Woody. But when I first saw Woody on TV, I KNEW he w...
