LORDZ OF THE FLY

Delivering a blend of soul/hip hop Lordz of the Fly are fronted by female vocalist/rapper Rudy Jackson & MC Big Buckaroo. After dropping their debut album SYMPTOMATIC off the Livestyle Records label last Spring, they bring to the table tracks full of love for the earth & life while also stepping up to the plate with mad rhymes for any true lovers of Hip Hop. For their LP Lordz linked up with Chicago MC Diverse, MC Kye (Wicked Beat Sound System, Budspells), Hyjak (Hyjak&Torcha), NFA (1200 Techniques) and Sydneys new funk roots crew Botanics in which they have turned over some amazing new material.Over 2004 & 2005 Lordz dropped a self titled EP from which tracks Whatcha Call This and Bump It enjoyed high rotation on FBI radio, and community radio across the country. Their single Warning is featured on Triple Js Hip Hop Show compilation available now! They supported international artists such as Hazaduz (NZ), DJ Shortkut and dj wHat?! of the World Famous Beat Junkies, DJ Revolution (Sway & Techs Wake Up Show/MTV) from California and Ceplh Titled & Apathy from New York. They shared the stage with the UKs Mystro, Sarah Love. Lordz were also co-billed with Decepticonz, Digital Underground, Kool Keith & Kutmaster Kurt at the Park Jam event at Luna Park. Over 05 and into 06 Lordz blazed onto the asian stage playing Tokyo, Bali and Jakarta. The live show has been gobsmacking hip hop afficionados throughout Australia due to a real departure from the 'aussie hip hop' style.
