I am a stand-up comedian and aspiring television writer. I spent a couple of very confused years reluctantly playing the role of a lawyer. (Just in case you were wondering, it's not nearly as cool as Dick Wolf led me to believe.) Last year, I decided to abandon the security of a weekly paycheck and health insurance in order to pursue my dreams. My mother cries herself to sleep every night.I re-located to Los Angeles from New York City in January of 2006. So far, it's great. I'm not sure if that's because it's truly great or because it's fun not being a lawyer. I am currently working as a writer's assistant on the upcoming ABC sitcom "Samantha Who" starring Christina Applegate. TIVO it, people. My livelihood depends on it.Everything here is very sunny. The weather is sunny. The people are sunny. I'm pretty sure I'm the most evil, cynical person here. Well, except perhaps for all of the disgruntled assistants.
