The Scallywag Show With Barnacle Brian

Wanna hear the shite you've been readin' about???

About Me

Podcasting 101: A podcast is basically a radio show that you can download and listen to whenever you want, much like an mp3. (No, you don't need an Ipod to hear it, and yes it's free!) Some people think Podcasting is the way of the future, and some people think It's a passing fad. I personally don't give a shit either way, because I enjoy doing it regardless. I am simply a fan of the music, and enjoy playing you the type of bands worthy of exposure. For fans of: Celt-Punk, Pirate-Punk, Cow-Punk, Folk, Streetpunk, Various traditional, Bluegrass, Rockabilly, Ska, Reggae, etc.
The Name: This show is in honor of all the pirate broadcasters from around the world. (Hence the name: The Scallywag Show With Barnacle Brian.) It's also in tribute to the Legendary John Peel. (Aka: World's greatest D.J.)
ATTENTION BANDS!!! If you want to be/or DON'T want to be included on an upcoming podcast, or if you'd like to send any demos, mp3's, etc. Click here to email me!
Legal shite: I probably won't play too many "big" bands, because of copyrights, and whatnot. I will however, be playing the type of music most commercial radio stations wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole.
More Info: The majority of the bands heard on this podcast can be found at: Shite'n'Onions E-Zine
