Sounds Like: "Unpredictable, unique and one of the hottest unsigned bands in Liverpool" NME.
"Jarring, jutting chords and a powerful rumbles that skeets and skates at unpredictable intervals, the Indica Ritual doff their cap toward Cardiacs with a squall of prog-metal topped with the tightly combed bob of the art new-wave. A slash of death metal swing, a creeping instrumental to cover a cymbal change and an electro avenue bending off their unadopted track; plenty within their visionary musicianship then to warrant further investigation" VanityProject.co.uk
"Quirky, jerky, incredibily clever electro pop from these 5 whippersnappers. They write songs that Talking Heads wish they had, and DEVO probably did when they were off their cake. And fantastic to watch live too! we like you indica ritual!"

"A 5-piece from the over on the Wirral, who, for a bunch of guys so young, are making some incredibley inventive music. We played with them at a gig on New Years Eve and we were all thoroughly, pleasently BLOWN AWAY by them. I don't think i've ever heard anything quite like it. It's jerky in a Devo kind of way, the singer yelps in a Talking Heads meets the Cure kind of way, and guitars and electonics squelch all over the top of it, creating something which nobody else round these parts is even thinking about doing. The songs seem to take a left turn and throw you off balance every time you just manage to get onto a hook, and then an even better idea picks you up again. We've invited them to play with us again in the Liverpool Barfly on 1st June and, frankly, we can't wait to see 'em live again." goFASTER on INDICA for MapsMagazine, thanks boys.
"local boys Indica Ritual, who fill the stage with colour, instruments and fluro cables; wrestling masks, friends and drinks. Their everything-and-the-kitchen-sink, number-crunching popcore is the extreme opposite to Prinzhorn Dance School. Whether it be the jerky spak-pop of 'Num Lock' or 'Trade Show's' mathy spazz-outs, as audience and band merge into one, they're the best house party band ever. If you don't mind finding Ray Mysterio in your fridge and songs even Battles would find weird".:A HIGH VOLTAGE review of the PDS gig:
"Indica Ritual stamped their own personality on the evening. They are a neon clad junior Devo with a singer who has a David Byrne thing going on Like a hillbilly version of The Pixies with the quirkiness of To My Boy. Tropical electro beats mixed with rock god chords and wailing as they performed songs including their new single ‘Tradeshow.’ www.subba-cultcha.co.uk
