Sounds Like:
--------------------------Next 100,000,000 Guitars....no, I jest, it's I Thee Lothario. I think they'd probably like to have 100,000,000 guitars though, given the 80's stadiumrock-tastic vibe of their music. Think 'Don't You Forget About Me' era Simple Minds, a little 'Love Like Blood' era Killing Joke and 'Love is a Wonderful Colour' era The Icicle Works - it almost made me feel young again. Of course all this 80's stuff is as hip and trendy. With lead singer Aaron twitching all over the shop like Ian Curtis on acid. If you're going to be a frontman / woman give it a bit of oomph that's what I say, and he did. Now you're talking. Second time I've seen this band and second time I've gone away impressed.--------------------------http://thehearingaid.blo gspot.com/ Jan 31st 2009
Soldier To Your Heart
Atmospheric and sublime vocals. Pop hooks, with exciting melodic breaks. A lot of idea's here. Almost a progressive frame with a pop heart
An English Sentence
Again I really dig the pop sensibilities. Well considered orchestration too. Good vocals and instrumentation (in both tracks). Loads of idea's too, but they're not overstated. They're functional to the pop core. Love the sax is it? I swear I heard a sax anyway haha. Definitely a sax! Love it
