shit the bed

About Me

'shit the bed' - a grunge/no-fi/etc band based in the norf of inglund. they formed (give or take) on the first day of uni in britain's second city (tha l.i.v), in 2005, when scott & george met while trying to operate a swipe card door system (bonding immediately over Shitty Technology). what started off as a tentative practical joke involving no bass and a change of band name every gig turned into a slit-personality half- sound collage swirl of quite quiet noise, half- loud as possible/faster if possible guitar songs. the name is derived from the french expression 'chienlit' which means three different things: (1) "he's the shithole" (2) "dog in bed" (3) "shit the bed". watch this space. recently reunited after long jollydays.
"there they are, shit the bed! by heck, you can spot them from ere - lean-to against some sundry column, chatting up the upholstery in an alehouse, stumbling off an out-of-service areeva, or even taring their hosiery to shreads on makeshift unicycles." -- jebediah johansson (2007)
