About Me

Hidden away inside a converted warehouse in Liverpool's city centre, Elevator provides a unique environment for audio production.
The natural aesthetic of the building, with its wood beams, exposed brick and large open areas, combined with state of the art recording technology, makes for an inspiring space in which to record music.
Elevator provide both analogue and digital recording technology, with a wide selection of classic microphones, vintage EQ's, mic pre apms, and compressors. For that 'ultimate analogue' sound Elevator own an 8 track 2inch tape machine, with the head block custom made by JRF Magnetics.
Accommodation: We can provide high quality accommodation in a luxury apartment one minutes walk away from the studio. With plasma TV, DVD and internet access this 'producer flat' is a great place in which to relax at the end of a session.
Elevator has recently expanded, moving itself into an old dock warehouse; having re-designed and smartened up the building in true Elevator style. We are now welcoming even more bands and creative companies. The community exists in the former Victorian Warehouses opposite the Cains Brewery, Liverpool. If you are a creative company, band, artist, photographer, film maker, designer, visionary, genius, vagrant, interested in becoming part of this new and exciting adventure then please contact us through the details below. Or, even if you're not interested, please stop by at the in-house venue Leaf Cafe and Tea Bar day or night. Visit Leaf's page in our top friends to find out about their up and coming events.
