About Me

My name is Ivan Perez, but I'm known as KID GHOST! I've been spinnin' for about 10 years and producing professionally for about 5 years! Im president and founder of SONIQ SOUNDZ MUSIC GROUP!He was just a ripe age of nine years, when DJ Kid Ghost first got a chance at the art of turntables. Who knew that such a chance at something new would spark his drive to have crowds moving nonstop. For the next ten years, he would prove to be a dedicated artist, spreading his music through out Long Island, spinning at major clubs. Kid Ghost enjoys incorporating attitude and sensation, all into one energetic set, that will keep you going for hours. In the early part of the decade, Kid Ghost decided to bring his talent and career to the next level, by beginning to produce his own tracks. Taking his preference in Tech-House and Progressive House, he began expanding the genres by blending hip hop and urban elements into his productions. For the year â€™08, Kid Ghost is ready to introduce this dance scene to a new way of thinking with killer tracks made to have you bouncing all night long.As some have already found out, the name Kid Ghost is synonymous with the term "disc jockey." A DJ for the last nine years, he is a true product of the electronic dance music subculture... "The first record i ever held in my hand was a house record," Ghost says. "I'm all about energy and sensation blended into one!!" Ghost has been known to spin everything from smooth funky house, to hard trance, to jungle, with complete precision and style.
