Originally formed by Cepheus, Chelles, and Spinsycle in the summer of 2004 with the POPPIN'FRESH houseparty event, BackYard BeatZ has stood for fresh beats and fresh attitudes for as long as they've been involved in the electronic dance music scene. In addition to POPPIN'FRESH, the crew has thrown the most grassroots of events, following up their initial success with houseparties such as HARD TRIPPIN', BLAZINTRAX, and SAVE THE HOUSE(PARTY), along with fully-promoted events like BONKAZ!, LOONEY TUNES, ENERGIZE, and PHUNKTIFIED. The crew has worked with such Long Island scene luminaries as X-Dream and Integrity and have been a part of events all across the Northeast, as well as OH, IL, MD, DC, FL, and Canada.
Now it is time to bring the BackYard to the forefront. This crew of hard-working artists is ready to break out in a big way!! Be on the lookout for new demos and original releases from each of the BackYard BeatZ crew members, as well as for our next event in the months ahead!!!
