Mosgiel Metal

About Me

Formed late 2005 and hailing from the quiet southern town of Mosgiel (Dunedin), Incarnate bring their own tight and groovy brand of hard rocking Metal to the diverse New Zealand music scene. 2007 was a big year for Incarnate, having played literally thousands of gigs, supporting bands such as 8 Foot Sativa, Tainted and Antagonist as well as playing their September tour with Taking the Fall. They also placed 2nd in the 2007 Otago Regional Rock Quest Finals, which pushed their national profile up that bit more. 2008 was a bit of a slow start for the boys as they were still breaking from gigs to write some new tunes. Mid way through March they decided that it was time to get back to business. Bringing their new songs, and new sound back to the scene, they’ve been smashing through local venues ever since. With the title "2008 OUSA Battle of the Bands winners" under their belt Incarnate will continue to constantly write new material, and play shows anywhere and everywhere they can around the country, so keep your eyes out because your town could be next!Incarnate recently released their first professional independent EP, Necessary Evil which is now available to download online for freeeeeee!Incarnate have had features in Jet Magazine, The Critic Magazine, The Groove Guide (available from Real Groovy), the O.D.T and of coarse The Tairei (Mosgiel Metal) Herald. Also check out the new Travesty of Justice music video below!
