I am a girl
I was born 5/5/88 in Wellington and since birth have been called by my first and middle names, Esther Melody
If you are like me and aren't quick at adding you may find it helpful to know that I am 21
The boys in my band call me Lester, Hester, Hector etc, they also call me Morgie...I get the first few, cause they rhyme but MORGIE????? what the heck?
At 3, I apparently had a dream, the details I cant remember but caused me to wake up screaming "I want to play the piano"
I resisted working on my singing, piano and outright refused to write songs 'til I was 15, although when I was 12 I wrote and recorded a song and prior to that had penned childish sing-a-longs such as "Girls rock and boys have smelly socks"
If you ask me what my genre is I will most probably say pop, on a good day I will tell you that its more like pop/rock with a twist, on a bad day I will tell you why it sucks to have to limit your music to a genre
I sing, play piano & guitar, write all our songs and have been performing since I was 5.
When I get married I am going to play hide and seek at my reception. The only person I will marry is a person who will be OK with this. The only people who can come to my wedding are people who will play!!!
Caleb is a boy
He is my little brother born 21/06/90...that makes him 18
I didn't know how to say his middle name when he was born so I called him Caleb Burner
We call him KB
For seven years KB refused to do any music because he decided that our dad was forcing him to do it
2 years ago he took up the drums again (this decision was helped by seeing Muse at BDO
KB generally practices 6 hours per day minimum...he got pretty good quite fast
KB is my bestest friend in the whole wide world we are completely different, no one would ever pick when they see us that we are brother and sister, but we are also very similar...if we made a Compilation CD the tracks and even the track listing would probably be identical
I wrote a song about him...its called "Not About Me"...whys it called not about me? because it isnt about me...its about Caleb!!!
Hamish is a hairy boy
He turned 20 on 16th Nov
Hamish is an accountant
Hamish joined the band at the end of April 08...within Hamish's first week he had atteneded Esther's 20th, driven to Christchurch, gone ice skating, invaded a radio interview and filmed our first Music Video
Hamish is a fan of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and likes to refer to himself as Flea
Hamish plays bass and is mental on stage...and off stage
Hamish has super powers and can read your mind
Hamish is one of my favourite people in the world, I would die for him so dont ever hurt him cause you'd have to deal with me and im not afraid of death so im CRAZY
Hamish is good at poetry
Hamish is allergic to my cat loopy...
Hamish has a jacket...you should watch out for him when he's wearing that jacket...he is pretty much THE MAN
Jared is a young boy
16 years old
Jared is currently a touring member of the band
He lives in Rotorua which makes being a full member hard
Jared plays guitar...his hero is Joe Satriani
Jareds family are amazing, the Stevenson house is our 2nd home
When we met Jared he refused to wear skinny jeans...
He now wears them majority of the time!
Jared has intense blue eyes...we ask shop keepers if they think they are pretty
They usually say yes
When we met Jared he didn't talk
We have now discovered he is a closet crazy person
