About Me

Colored Ink(CI)is a SF Bay Area based Hip Hop Theatre Company that explores contemporary issues through Hip-Hop, Theater, & Spoken Word.CI's mission is to inspire Urban Communities for social change. We have averaged 115 performances a year for the last 5 years.We plan on continuing to produce socially conscious events and artists, take our “Streets Have Spoken” play on a local & national tour, & most important support other community organizations and folks.CI continues to perform in the jails, schools, prisons, clubs, shelters, the block, colleges, group homes, rec. centers, and any other place where we feel people need to hear the truth.
