It's easy to praise and worship God after the problem is gone or our enemies are defeated. But by worshiping Him before the battle is acutally won really gets God's attention. Please do not be a conditional praiser, praising Him with conditions. I am a singer... Not just a singer but a servant unto the Lord, His Psalmist. I have learned while on this journey, that Praise and Worship is just not a part of the service of where everyone joins in and sings congregational hymns. As a Praise and Worship Leader I must help usher in the spirit of the living God. God dwells in the midst of our Praise and in the midst of our Worship. The shackles can become loosed, the burdens can become lifted and the brokenhearted can become mended, the sick can become healed. All of this through Praise and Worship. All must be done in the beauty of his holiness. God is still looking for a true worshipper that will worship him in spirit and in truth. True worship brings people not just into an emotional experience but also literally before the face of God with no music. Just with uplifted hands and a mouth filled with adoration. As a leader, I have to get them to a place where I have already been. I learned that Praise and Worship is a lifestyle; also that being able to sing is not just a gift it's a calling! So let's all begin to set the atmosphere for worship, begin to set the atmosphere for praise. With the fruit of your lips begin to praise Him, with the clapping of your hands praise Him. He's worthy of all the honor! Lift up your voice like a trumpet, oh people of Zion and just begin to PRAISE HIM!!!
